King Karloff Has His Day on @TCM

Greetings, Friends & Fiends!

Ye Olde Dragon here, bringing you some nice news, courtesy of the Good Folks at Turner Classic Movies. As you know, August is the month that TCM devotes a different day to a different star all month, under the banner of their SUMMER UNDER THE STARS. Ordinarily, August is kind of scarce for fans of Imagi-Movies & Fantastical Cinema. However, this year we have a whole day honoring the films of the King of Horror Films himself, Boris Karloff.

Make sure to set your DVRs for Friday, August 26, 2016, starting at 6am EDT!

In addition to the 13 Horror Films, there are a few Mysteries and Adventure Films sprinkled within. Also, join me as I Guest-Host #TCMparty from 8pm – 12:30am for FRANKENSTEIN (1932), BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) and THE MUMMY (1933).

Here’s your schedule:

6:00 AM – Lured (1947)
7:45 AM – The Lost Patrol (1934)
9:00 AM – Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome (1947)

10:15 AM – The Mask of Fu Manchu (1932)
11:45 AM – The Fatal Hour (1940) Note: A Mr. Wong Mystery!
1:00 PM – British Intelligence (1940)
2:15 PM – The Walking Dead (1936)
3:30 PM – The Man They Could Not Hang (1939)
4:45 PM – The Terror (1963)
6:15 PM – Black Sabbath (1964)
#TCMParty Guest-Hosted by Ye Olde Dragon!
