Imagi-Movies on @TCM for March, 2016

imagi-movies-MARCH

And we’re back!

Greetings, Friends & Fiends!

Ye Olde Dragon here, after an embarrassingly overlong absence, with the return of the Imagi-Movie schedule. It’s a short offering I’m afraid. I can’t get past the second week of April so far, but that’s looking a bit thin as well. Let’s cross our fingers that we’ll have an Imagi filled Summer this year! Let’s get to it!

\——————————————-/

March Highlights:

On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, TCM will be having a Spotlight on “From Comics to Film“, but NOT the comics you might think! From 8pm to 5am, they’ll have the first two chapters of Saturday Morning Serials from the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Included are the two Batman serials, both Superman serials, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, The Green Hornet, The Phantom, Ace Drummond and Dick Tracy. At 5am, they’ll wrap it with the feature version of the Dick Tracy Serial
The timing is certainly interesting, considering that date is the opening night of a certain Superhero movie about a Man of Steel battling a Dark Knight.

Please keep in mind that all times are Eastern Standard Time and are subject to possible changes at any time by TCM.
