Imagi-Movies on @TCM for December, 2014

imagi-movies-DecSeasons Greetings, my Garlanded Goblins!

Ye Olde Dragon here, preparing to get the lair into Holly Jolly mode! I hope everyone will have had a Happy (and filling) Thanksgiving, by the time the schedule goes into effect.
Time to check out what Christmas goodies the good folks at Turner Classic Movies have put under the tree!
Oh, and welcome back to those who watch TCM on Dish Network!

It looks like you were all good little Guys and Ghouls this year, as it looks like Santa stuffed our Imagi-Movie stocking quite nicely!

HIGHLIGHTS:
Be sure to set your DVR for 2 AM on the night of Saturday, December 20 if you’ve never seen the surreal holiday spectacle that is René Cardona’s SANTA CLAUS (1959). This is the one that was featured on MST3K, featuring Santa aided and abetted by Merlin the Magician to battle the forces of The Devil!

There’s also a wide variety of Scrooges to choose from during the month as well as several showings of other Christmas classics.

On Thursday, December 11, you can catch a ton of “Girl Power” all day long capped off at 6:15 PM with Raquel Welch running from Ray Harryhausen’s dinosaurs in Don Chaffey‘s ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. (1966)!

Finally, be sure to catch three movies based on the writings of Jules Vern as the last three Imagi-Movies of 2014 on Wednesday, December 31 starting at 12:30 PM with Byron Haskin‘s FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON (1958).

In any case, at this time I would like to wish you and yours a Happy Holiday Season, whatever your faith and/or beliefs.

And now, onto the schedule! Do keep in mind that all times listed are Eastern Standard Time, and of course are subject to change by TCM at any time. And as always, keep an eye out for Tweet-A-Longs with #DriveInMob and #TCMParty during the month!
